Does acupuncture hurt?+
Needles are about the width of a human hair. Most people feel a brief dull heaviness at the point and nothing afterwards. Many patients fall asleep during treatment.
How many sessions will I need?+
Acute issues often settle within two to four visits. Chronic conditions typically respond best to weekly care for about six weeks, after which visits are spaced out.
Do you accept insurance?+
We are in-network with several major plans and provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. We will verify your benefits before your first visit.
Is it safe alongside my medication?+
Yes. Acupuncture complements conventional care. We review your medications and coordinate with your physician whenever it is helpful.
What should I wear?+
Loose, comfortable clothing. We use draping and treatment gowns so you stay covered and comfortable throughout.
